Individual Pro: upgrade or cancel anytime from Settings; when you downgrade you keep paid access until the end of the billing period. School plans are annual licenses paid up-front by card or invoice/PO, with renewals reviewed at the end of each term, and you can add seats mid-term at the per-seat overage rate listed on each plan.
Your data is always safe. If you exceed the Free tier limits after downgrading, you can still view existing data but cannot add new students beyond the limit.
Evident is designed for FERPA-conscious student-support workflows. Schools remain responsible for their own FERPA obligations, and Evident supports those workflows with role-based access, parent visibility controls, audit logging, data export/delete workflows, and signed DPAs where appropriate. Yes. Pricing is the same worldwide, in USD. Schools are hosted on encrypted US infrastructure by default, and schools that need EU data residency can be onboarded to a dedicated EU deployment where student records are stored and processed in the European Union. Yes to both. Districts can run a structured pilot with a small group of teachers, SPED coordinators, or MTSS leads before committing.
