Before Evident

Documentation that fights the people doing the work.

01

Behavior tools that feel punitive and only get used with a few students.

02

Documentation that makes families defensive instead of informed.

03

Behavior data that lives in one app and never reaches the IEP/MTSS conversation.

Why schools care

Counselors and deans want behavior documentation that supports kids, not punishes them. Evident lets teachers log positive growth, supports, and concerns side by side, and quietly turns the same notes into MTSS, IEP, and family-ready evidence when needed.

Common questions
Is this just a behavior chart with a new name?

No. Charts are one output. The same daily logs feed timelines, family summaries, MTSS evidence, IEP progress, and meeting packets.

Can teachers log positive moments, not just incidents?

Yes, that is the default mode. Behavior incidents (ABC) are a separate, specialized log type that case managers can also use.

Will this replace our PBIS system?

No. Evident is documentation infrastructure that pairs with PBIS, not a points/rewards system. It captures the evidence behind tier decisions.

Who controls family visibility?

The teacher. Notes are private by default; sharing requires an explicit per-note toggle.
