On a District / Multi-school plan, your schools sit inside one Evident organization. District admins manage schools and see across them from the district dashboard, while principals and staff work inside their own building.
The district dashboard
The District Dashboard shows the number of schools, staff seats used across the organization, teacher adoption over the last 7 days, upcoming IEP meetings in the next 30 days, and a list of schools with each one's daily logs and whether it is active today.
The special education overview counts active IEPs, active BIPs, and students with accommodations, and evidence activity shows notes and packets over the last week.
Add schools and principals
Owners, admins, and district admins see Add School, Org Settings, and an invite-principal option on the dashboard. Add each building, then invite its principal, who can invite teachers, counselors, and special education coordinators to that school.
Special education directors can open the district dashboard to view it, without the management actions.
Boundaries between schools
Principals see their own school's dashboard and staff. Teachers see the students they added or that were shared with them, and transfers work only within the organization.
Confidential (support team) notes are scoped to the organization, so counselors across the district's schools share that access. If buildings need separate support teams, raise it with us before rollout.
Coordinate rollout centrally
Start with one or two schools, then expand from a routine that worked in your district. Agree district-wide on a few conventions, such as how students are named and which measurement types common goals use, so school views compare.
Handle the contract, the DPA, and the choice of US or EU deployment once at the district level rather than per building.
