Evident has two individual plans, Free and Pro, and annual school plans sized by staff seats. There is no free trial: the free plan is the way to try Evident, and it does not expire.
Free
The free plan covers a full class: up to 30 students with an active goal chart each, daily logging, IEP goal data points, the family portal with QR codes, and family updates translated into 28 languages. It includes the Evident Capture Chrome extension and Caseload Calendar for up to 5 scheduled students.
There is no trial and no time limit, and no card is needed. Your first PDF report or meeting packet is free on every account, once, so you can see what comes out before deciding on Pro.
Pro
Pro is $12 a month or $120 a year for an individual teacher. It raises the roster limit to 50 students and adds the documentation outputs.
It adds the documentation outputs: PDF progress reports from charts, the IEP progress report PDF (drafting and reviewing narratives works on every plan, with three free drafts), BIP and packet PDFs, packet translation for families, and Batch Log for the whole class. Pro also includes unlimited Caseload Calendar scheduling.
Charts are unlimited on every plan, Free included, so Pro is not about making more of them. What Pro adds is turning your charts and logs into documents: PDF reports, evidence packets, and CSV export. If you need more than 50 students, a school plan is the fit.
School plans
School plans are annual licenses priced by staff seats: Team Pilot is $1,800 a year for 10 seats, Foundation $4,000 for 25 seats, Campus $7,000 for 50 seats, and Whole School $12,000 for 100 seats. Extra seats cost $140, $120, $100, and $80 a year respectively, and Foundation, Campus, and Whole School include a one-time guided onboarding fee.
Every staff member gets everything in Pro with no per-teacher student limit, plus staff invites with roles, the admin dashboard, the audit log, and unlimited scheduling. You can pay by card or request an invoice with a PO number.
District / Multi-school
District contracts are custom, starting at $20,000 a year, for multiple schools under one organization. They include the district dashboard, custom seats and schools, custom data agreements, and the option of the EU deployment for schools that need EU data residency.
Caseload Calendar add-on
Caseload Calendar, the service-minute scheduler, is free for 5 scheduled students. An individual provider can unlock unlimited scheduling for $39 a year without upgrading anything else.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free trial of Pro?
No. The free plan holds a full class and does not expire, so you can use Evident fully before deciding whether you need Pro's reports and exports.
Does Pro remove the student limit?
No. Pro holds 50 students. School plans have no per-teacher student limit.
Are translated family updates a Pro feature?
No. Translated family updates are on the free plan. Translating an evidence packet PDF is part of Pro's PDF export.
Do we need District to get a signed DPA?
No. A signed DPA is available for school purchases too.
Do I keep my data if I change plans?
Yes. Changing plans does not delete students or logs. See the article on changing or canceling your plan for what is locked on a lower plan.
