- Families see today's chart, the last 30 days of results, the goals, and recent days.
- They can sign today's log with their name and a finger-drawn signature, after a PIN if you set one.
- Send a note to the teacher lets them write back; the note is saved to the student's communication log.
- If the chart has a family language, the portal opens in that language with a toggle to English.
- Families see only notes you chose to share, never private, staff, or confidential notes.
When a family opens a Parent Access Link, they land in the family portal for that student. It is a plain, read-first page: how today went, how the last month went, what the goals are, and a place to sign or send a note.
The portal home page
The home page shows who shared it (the teacher and school), a Today card with View and sign today's chart, and the Last 30 days: goals met, days logged, and days signed. Below are Goals we're working on and Recent days.
If the teacher has not logged today yet, the page says so and asks the family to check back after class.
Today's chart and signing
The daily page shows each goal as met or not met, the reward if the chart has one, and the teacher's note when the teacher chose Share with parents. A weekly history view shows each logged day and whether it was signed.
Sign Chart asks for the family member's name and a signature drawn with a finger, then saves it on that day's log. If you set a Parent PIN in the chart editor, the family enters it first.
Language
The portal uses the chart's Target Language. The home page opens in that language and has a toggle to switch to English. The daily page shows labels in English and the family language together, with a note that the translation is automatic and the English is the original.
